The Plastic Surgeon Juan Carlos Luque Heras was born in Mexicali, B.C. on 13 September 1973. He attended primary school at Felix de Jesus Rougier Institute from 1980 to 1986, following his secondary preparation in the Mexicali Valley Institute from 1986 to 1989, he continued his undergraduate studies at the Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS) from 1989 to 1992.
He decided to become a doctor so he made the admission test of the Autonomous University of Baja California being enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine in Mexicali from August 1992 ending in July 1997. He obtained 8.74 GPA being the fourth highest average in his class, graduated with Honorable Mention.
He conducted medical internship at the Mexicali General Hospital June 1997 to June 1998 achieving 9.88 average. He made the social service August 1998 to July 1999 in the Diagnostic Center of the Faculty of Medicine Mexicali.
He made the specialized studies in general surgery with residency in the North Central Hospital of National Concentration, Petroleos Mexicanos, starting in March 2000 to culminate in February 2004.
Determined to achieve his goal, focused on the specialty in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery residency taking place at the Centro Medico Nacional, 20 de Noviembre, I.S.S.S.T.E. March 2004 and February 2007.
Throughout his career he has achieved these academic honors:
* Fourth generation average of the XXVIII Generation Surgeon and Obstetrician, Autonomous University of Baja California.

* Place 36/2035 XXIII National Examination for Medical Residence Applicants.
* First Place: Departmental Review UNAM, residents second year of general surgery, academic year 2001 to 2002.
* Third Place: Departmental Review UNAM, third-year resident of general surgery, academic year 2002 to 2003.
* Chief Resident, General surgery, period March 2003 - February 2004.
* Sixth Place: Departmental Review UNAM, third-year resident of plastic surgery, academic year 2006 to 2007.
* Chief Resident, plastic surgery, period March 2006 - February 2007.
Upon completion of the specialized studies he returned to the city of Mexicali to start his practice as Plastic Surgeon and Reconstructive certificate.
Currently the surgeon Juan Carlos Luque Heras has over 10 years of experience, carrying out more than 4 major cosmetic procedures every week, including placement of breast implants, liposuction, lumpectomies, facelifts, breast lifts and breast reductions, among many other. His team consists of 4 nurses, 1 anesthetist who assist for the effective performance of their professional activity.
Additionally, it performs more than 1,000 minor procedures per year including application of Botox, facial fillers, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, neck lifts, liposuction and lower skin treatments, among others.
